Playful all-mountain board from Nidecker
New for the 21/22 season, Nidecker is launching the reliable and playful Ora.
It comes with a medium-stiff full woodcore for great balance for piste, park and terrain. The CamRock profile gives you edge hold on the piste, but the rocker in the nose and tail gives you a forgiving ride.
In addition, the Directional Twin shape provides float in powder while being easy to manoeuvre on switch landings.
A board for beginners and intermediate girls who want to make their first experiences in the park and powder.
Riding style
The Ora does everything, but is freestyle-oriented and comes with optimal features for gaining first experiences in the park.
Shape
The Directional Twin shape has the advantage that the nose gets a little longer due to the offset of the bindings towards the tail (setback), giving you more uplift in powder. However, the shape of the nose and tail remain symmetrical, which means that even switch riding is no problem.
Profile
CamRock is a traditional camber profile with smooth transitions into rocker in the nose and tail. As a result, you get a fun and responsive board that enables pinpoint turns yet is forgiving.
Flex
The medium flex is ideal for the all-mountain design of this board. Hard enough for powerful turns, but still soft enough for a playful feel.
Construction
This snowboard comes with a high quality sandwich construction and a solid poplar woodcore with beech reinforcements in nose and tail for more pop.
The innovative Absorbnid top layer reduces vibrations and thus prevents rapid fatigue. The N-5000 base is quick and easy to maintain.
